Entry: Maintenance Technician - Full Time, Year Round - Beaver Creek, CO

The Entry Maintenance Technician performs entry level maintenance work in at least several of the following areas: electrical, plumbing, welding, carpentry, painting, mechanical, equipment operation, cabinet/countertop/trim/drywall installation, HVAC, etc. 

The Entry Maintenance Technician duties include, but are limited to:

  • Assists higher level Techs with more complex tasks
  • Responsible for general maintenance and preventative maintenance of the property.  Perform daily rounds-check boilers, common areas, sprinkler systems, fire pump room, fire panels
  • Attend to any work orders, guest requests, housekeeping requests, and front desk requests
  • Complete assigned tasks in a safe, timely manner
  • Work with outside contractors to provide necessary improvements or maintenance as directed
  • Maintain records of all work activities and support materials
  • Provide for safe disposal of all waste material
  • Maintain tools and work area in safe, secure and efficient mannner
  • Work with other departments as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma - required
  • At least 1 year of maintenance experience - required
  • Possess valid US driver’s license - required
  • Able to read, write, and speak English - required
  • Able to lift 50lbs - required
  • Able to stand for 4-6 hours at a time - required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - preferred
  • Some college - preferred
  • Must have good communication skills and enjoy working with the public
