Job Summary – (Role Summary)

Lead the development and coordination of engagement and change strategies for Global Technology Strategy, Planning, and Operations. Oversee the program management of major transition and readiness initiatives typically requiring multiple project managers and colleagues. Perform integration functions and resolve issues across multiple projects. Involves balancing competing demands among scope, time, cost, and quality, stakeholders with differing needs and expectations, identifying requirements (needs) and unidentified requirements (expectations) and working concurrently with multiple client departments on departmental and major GT projects. Partner with a team of communication and training colleagues as well as manage periodic less experienced staff and vendors by providing direction and oversight of planned deliverables. This role will be based in Atlanta.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities – (Key Activities)

● Responsible for managing and coordinating engagement and change management strategies for major programs by developing stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and program plans and schedules, adhering to project budget for all assigned projects, managing project resource constraints, identifying, analyzing, and responding to risk.

● Drive coordination and consistency of GT Strategy, Planning, and Operations executive communications.

● Coordinate the activities of project managers in the development, integration, and implementation of assigned projects.

● Manage the preparation of all program/project change management plans and oversee the development of reports and analyses that document program activity.

● Lead project teams as needed and provide technical guidance and leadership to staff; act as consultant and a subject-matter expert to management in resolving unusually difficult problems.

● Participate with management and cross-functional teams in inter-organization task teams as subject matter expert to develop and improve IT.

● Conduct, analyze and acting upon stakeholder readiness assessments; review and refine strategies as a result of assessment; administer ongoing assessments to ensure adoption and readiness

● Measure the effectiveness and impact of change initiatives with an emphasis on effectiveness and risk mitigation during the transition

● Develop Communication Packets/Change Discussion Guides and other deliverables in partnership with team colleagues and associated communication teams across Global Technology.

Band Level: 6

Salary range: Base plus potential bonus

Job Requirements



Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.


8-10 years progressive work related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines / technologies / processes related to the position as well as 3-5 years managing teams and / or significant complex projects.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

● Demonstrated change management and project management experience in organizing, planning and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation. Experience consulting with multiple projects in a technology environment such applications development, data center operations, and production support.

● Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing and explaining technical and project related information to clients, vendors, senior management and staff.

● Strong knowledge of performance improvement, change management, communications and training frameworks.

● Experience in and good knowledge of a wide range of communications tactics, e.g. digital, video, events/training

● Assured, persuasive, and well -presented modeling both responsiveness and tenacity

Decision Making Responsibilities (Key Decision Rights):

● Lead the strategic planning and application of advanced project management and change management principles and concepts, the development, integration and management of major and highly complex projects and programs.

● Responsible for managing and coordinating multiple projects to successful completion including adhering to project deliverables, providing guidance to team members, and providing direction for resource constraints, and managing project / program scope changes.

● Erroneous decisions or recommendations would normally result in critical delays and / or modification to projects or operations causing a substantial expenditure of time, human resources, or funds.

Internal Key Relationships

● Internal (corporate IT staff and management as well as Senior management within the Client functions across the organization – CIO Communications, Directors, VPs, SVPs, EVPs)

● Frequent interaction with multiple client departments on various projects to obtain project / program phase approvals from project sponsors.

● Frequent interaction with Global Technology Product Management Account Executives.

External Key Relationships

● Vendors and contractors associated w/ assigned projects, professional associations, and industry professionals
