Our growing company is looking to add a Dual Property Food & Beverage Director.  This position will be a key leader for two full service hotels.  The Director of Food & Beverage supervises and directs all aspects of Food & Beverage, which includes a few restaurants and bars, room service, the Café, and banquets. Expectations for this role are to market ideas to promote business, retain and grow staff, maintain revenue and payroll budgets, and meet budget while keeping quality high.

Duties include:

  • Controls and supervises the F&B department.

  • Coordinates the delivery of all food and beverage services.

  • Monitors quality of service and product throughout the hotel in all F&B departments.

  • Coordinates with Sales & Catering and Executive Chef on menu planning and preparation.

  • Maintains control and condition of all equipment, furnishings, fixtures, and facilities in the department.

  • Ensures the training of managers and supervisors.

  • Organizes department meetings on a regular basis with managers and supervisors.

  • Issues disciplinary action, when necessary.

  • Maintains records of performance and labor within all F&B departments.

  • Controls F&B inventory.

  • Manages the F&B monthly budget.

  • Ensures compliance with all local liquor laws and health and sanitation regulations.

  • Completes orders for the F&B departments within budgetary guidelines.

  • Monitors industry trends, take appropriate action to maintain competitive and profitable operations.

  • Ensures overall guest satisfaction in all F&B areas.

  • Manages department controllable expenses including food cost, supplies, uniforms, and equipment.

  • Ensures compliance with tip distribution, safe service of alcohol, food handling, and sanitation standards.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours (weekends, nights, and holidays)

  • Associates degree or equivalent education and experience and five years of food and beverage hotel management experience required
