Your success will be measured by your ability to:
- Continue to increase overall market share and occupancy
- Execute strategies and tactics that result in achievement of budgeted revenue, profit goals, and consistent RevPAR and ADR growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and hospitality leaders to ensure a strong identity in the Austin community
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in hospitality sales preferably in the select service/ extended stay market, strong business and financial acumen, self-motivated, and values teamwork.

The Director of Sales is responsible for the overall revenue ad market share results of the hotel and demonstrating great leadership. Implements strategies that support the positioning of the property. Partners with the General Manager and the Executive Committee to advise, guide and support on various sales functions and initiatives. Ensures financial and revenue goals are achieved and sales productivity benchmarks are met.

Requires knowledge of general sales techniques, yield management, and customer service skills.

Must have dexterity/mobility to meet clients on and off premises, to tour property and attend functions, to climb stairs, and operate basic office equipment.
Vision to read fine print and computer screens, to see colors, to observe rooms in poorly lit conditions
Understand and follow verbal/written instructions. Develop strong internal and customer relationships. Set and manage priorities and plan activities in advance.
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience4+ years of hotel sales experience
General office equipment: computer, typewriter, copier, facsimile, telephone, calculator, etc.
Office environment, weather exposure when making sales calls
