Job Description

We are looking to fill our Director of Sales and Marketing position with someone who is able to bring to this position a substantial and successful track record in profitable sales management in all market segments, including but not limited to Group, Business Travel, Catering, and Tour while maintaining integrity and professional bearing. The right person will have some knowledge of accounting and budgeting along with the ability to compile facts/figures and analyze information that involves data manipulation or interpretation to arrive at logical conclusions. Ability to anticipate and identify issues and exercise initiative to investigate, interpret and weigh alternatives to reach logical conclusions and make sound business decisions.

We are looking for a charismatic person who can demonstrateeffective listening, verbal, written, negotiation and closing skills. Theability to assess customer needs, understand market dynamics and preparepresentations/proposals tailored for individual customers is paramount inmeeting/exceeding expectations for prospecting calls, appointments,presentations, proposals and closing contracts. .

This individual must display consistent professional leadership while simultaneously handling competing and changing priorities and projects. Remain positive, resourceful and possess the ability to improvise while working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure.

Being able to effectively and efficiently schedule, manage anddelegate to a large staff is required. Assisting with the interviewprocess, being able to hire motivate, develop, monitor and address staffperformance matters while continuing professionalism, diplomacy andconfidentiality.

This person must have computer proficiency in Microsoft office,Delphi, OnQ and comfortable with social media platforms.

The ability to travel when needed is a must in this position. Previous Hilton experience a plus and DoubleTree experience preferred. As with all positions, this person must satisfy and comply with the legal requirements for employment within the jurisdiction.
