Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Join the OPENING TEAM for our Cambria Suites Hotel – currently under construction!

  • Actively prospect & qualify new business

  • Arrange and conduct special events, site inspections and off-site presentations for potential clients

  • Participate in appropriate organizations, networking events and attend trade shows per market segment

  • Negotiate guest room rates and/or hotel services within approved booking guidelines

  • Accurately produce and review all sales contracts, rate agreements

  • Work closely with other hotel departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the sales office and prospective clients

  • Produce monthly sales related reports & sales forecasts for assigned areas of responsibility

  • Assist in the Annual Marketing Plan and budget preparation

Job Requirements

Education & Experience Required

  • Three to five years demonstrated sales experience in a hotel/hospitality or food and beverage environment

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Associates degree in relevant field preferred

  • Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Knowledge of industry software systems -- Seriousware, Visual One, Delphi, Meeting Matrix, etc., preferred; Choice Advantage a plus

  • Supervisory experience
