pCrowne Plaza Los Angeles-Commerce Casino offers guests the utmost in comfort and style, recently remodeled rooms, pool, patio deck, and fitness center. It also includes one of the largest ballrooms in Los Angeles with a built in stage which can accommodate up to 1100 guests. We areconveniently located 8 miles from Downtown Los Angeles.p

pWe currently have anopening for an experienced, outgoing and energeticindividual to fill the position of Director of Revue Management.p

pEssential functions of the position include butare notlimited toop

p1. Develop and recommend sales strategies, room mix and pricing. Responsible for reservations system, forecasting and reporting. Negotiate transient room rate contracts.p

p2. Develop, implement, monitor and control sales strategies conduct sales strategy meetings to ensure the proper mix of grouptransient guests while maximizing occupancy and room revenue.p

p3. Compile data, analyze trends, develop accurate weekly and period forecasts and communicate to all departments to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained to provide quality of guest services while minimizing expenses.p

p4. Assist in developing, implementing, monitoring and controlling annual budget and marketing plans to assist in meetingexceeding the overall hotel goals.p

p5. Monitor, control and communicate inventory levels and room and rate restrictions to meet business objectives.p

p6. Negotiate rates for transient accounts to ensure the right mix of sales to maximize room revenue.p

p7. Establishes, measures, monitors and effectively evaluates processes, polices, and procedures as well as supervise group coordinators.p

p8. Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff.p

p9. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.p
Minimum Qualifications

1. Minimum of 4 years experience in the Revenue Management field
2. In-Depth knowledge of all industry reports such as STR, Hotelligence, Demand360 and rate360, etc.
3. Knowledge of Holidex, Opera and Perform is a plus
4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
5. Ability to work quickly in a high-pressure high stress environment
6. Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
7. Excellent time management skills
8. Exceptional with details and follow up
Yield management skill required to evaluate business trends and communicate to properties the recommendations needed to take full advantage of revenue maximization
