The Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter is a full service, sleek and stylish urban boutique hotel located in the heart of historic Gaslamp Quarter. Our hotel consists of 286 luxurious guestrooms, 5,500 ft of refined conference space, New Leaf Restaurant, and a lobby bar. We are across from the San Diego Convention Center and in heart of all the fun San Diego Gaslamp district can offer.

Position Info

Director of Operations oversees all departments and effectively handles guest needs and manages staff while keeping the hotel running smoothly. The position has active participation in the profit maximization, guest satisfaction, revenue and operational effectiveness. Analyze financial and operating information in order to achieve budgeted labor, supplies, materials and other cost standards. Possess strong working knowledge of all areas of the hotel, experience making critical decisions, with a proven track record of managing, motivating, and leading a full service hotel team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree or 4 years management experience in a full service hotel in rooms division or related discipline
• Time management and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage and lead each department in accordance with employment and Innkeeper laws of the jurisdiction
• Prior cash handling experience necessary
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members
• Read, write and speak English fluently
