We are current searching for a Director of Operations for our Renaissance Woodbrige Hotel, situated between Edison and Woodbridge Township in Iselin, NJ. Our hotel boasts 311 guest rooms and over 34,000 square feet of meeting space!

As part of the Hotel's Executive Committee (EC), the Director of Operations assists the General Manager in the overall management responsibility for the operation of the hotel including associate relations, guest service, profitability, product quality, Food and Beverage and compliance to Pyramid and franchise standards. Operation of the hotel will be within the framework of approved annual budget, annual marketing plan, annual capital expenditure plan, annual wage plan, and always within the framework of all Company policies and procedures. 


Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have knowledge in the following areas:

  • Hotel accounting principles
  • Hotel maintenance and repair
  • Hotel housekeeping and general cleaning
  • Associate performance management
  • Sales and marketing for rooms
  • Front office procedures
  • Hotel safety and security
  • Food and Beverage.

Post high-school coursework in hotel administration/hospitality industry acquired either through accredited college or business school or seminar and workshop attendance required.

2-5 years previous supervisory experience at a similar size and type of hotel required. Food and beverage knowledge highly desired.
