Durham hotel looking for experienced Director of Housekeeping.
Job Description Responsible for the training and day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping department. Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning of the department. Provide strong leadership by motivating and developing all employees. Daily inspections of the hotel to ensure building is up to cleanliness and maintenance standards. Monitor and action all guest feedback from Guest Surveys and Trip Advisor. Create staff member work schedules to ensure distribution of work. Be visible throughout the hotel on a daily basis, serving as a lobby ambassador.
Coordinate with all department heads on VIP guests, events and special projects.
Candidate must have 3+ years of housekeeping management experience.
