We are looking for an On-Call Banquet Cook for our Culinary Banquet Department. Incumbent should have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a luxury property or high volume kitchen. Candidate must have excellent knife skills, food knowledge, as well as knowledge of proper sanitation practices. Incumbent should have strong grill station skills (i.e. knowledge of proteins, temperature, butchery, set-up and breakdown of station), the ability to multi-task (rotating and monitoring foods to ensure freshness going and coming back from parties), and the ability to read and understand Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). ServSafe certified preferred. A flexible schedule is required, including weekends, holidays, and evenings. This is an on-call position only.(ref. 45343)
