Job Description

Atrium is currently seeking a Corporate Senior Staff Accountant to work closely with and perform accounting-related duties for its Hotel and Corporate Accounting teams on key projects and organizational initiatives. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: financial statement preparation, monthly balance sheet reconciliation, daily revenue and cash reconciliations and other related finance projects.


1. Prepare monthly financial statements for assigned hotels, in collaboration with the Hotel and Corporate Accounting team.

2. Reconcile balance sheet accounts for assigned hotels on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

3. Reconcile bank accounts for assigned properties, on a daily basis.

4. Assist in the review of bank and balance sheet reconciliations.

5. Daily review of hotel revenues and posting in the General Ledger.

6. Assist with training Corporate Staff Accountants and be available for resource.

7. Assist in evaluating reports, decisions and results of the department in relation to established goals.

8. Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.

9. Maintain and review accounting records and compile reports from the database.

10. Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Job Requirements

1. 4 - 7 years of related experience.

2. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred.

3. Hospitality industry experience a plus.
