Job Description

The ideal candidate will perform HR-related duties on a professional level and work closely with the Corporate Director of Human Resources on key projects and organizational initiatives. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, compensation, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance.

1. Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
2. Serves has the HR point of contact for Corporate Headquarters associates, including onboarding and orientation.
3. Conducts HR orientation for new General Managers.
4. Handles first level employee relations counseling and advice.
5. Demonstrates a good understanding and working knowledge of FLSA, FMLA, EEO, OSHA and ADA compliance.
6. Partner with Corporate HR in evaluation of reports and data in relation to established goals for the organization.
7. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
8. Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
9. Partners with Corporate HR Director to comply with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
10. Fosters employee engagement through various programs and activities.
11. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of a Human Resources generalist and/or HR leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline required
• HR professional certification completed or in process required
• Prior HR leadership experience in a corporate environment strongly preferred
• Previous Hospitality industry experience a plus
