Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Accounting, financial reporting and controllership functions for assigned hotels which are accounted for on a centralized basis
  • Timely preparation and issuance of complete and accurate monthly and annual hotel financial statements
  • Creation and/or review of annual budgets, monthly variance analyses, and related budget-creation policies and procedures
  • Assistance in the establishment, documentation, and adherence to Standard Accounting Policies and Procedures and internal controls for centralized accounting operations
  • Monitoring of hotel operations, cash flow and operating forecasts of assigned entities
  • Review or preparation of monthly bank reconciliations and G/L reconciliations for assigned hotel properties
  • Supervision of assigned hotel property Directors of Finance and staff in corporate accounting department
  • Review, approval and processing of disbursements
  • Successful completion of internal and external financial audits, including coordination of work with CPA firms and delivering information requested by auditors on a timely basis
  • Preparation of any special reports, statements, etc., as requested
  • Assist in the training of property Directors of Finance as required
  • Communicate with hotel and corporate management on accounting related issues as required
  • Other special projects and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements
Qualifications
  • Expereince with accounting procedures and processes for European companies.
  • Relevant financial management and accounting experience. Hospitality experience at both the property level and corporate supervisory level a plus.
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting required. CPA a plus.
  • Strong PC skills including Excel, Word and financial accounting systems
  • Strong organizational, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours as necessary to complete assigned duties
