Seeking motivated Controller interested in hospitality accounting to join our team. The Controller supervises and directs the usual financial activities of the hotel including but not limited to AP, AR, credit and collections, payroll, cash management, internal controls, general ledger, review of financial statements, taxes, and budgeting. The Controller safeguards the assets and prepares all financial reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Qualified candidate must be able to implement and monitor internal controls, have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsible for all aspects of Human Resources.
Also serves as a financial advisor of the Hotel Management team and Ownership. This individual will be responsible to established property needs and team work achievement.
Hotel experience, accounting knowledge and computer practice is necessary. The candidate should be able to compile, review, reconcile, prepare and analyze entries to facilitate the accounting function to ensure accurate and timely information to the Corporate Office.
Proficiency in computer programs such as: Excel, Word, Outlook, ONQ, Micros POS, ADP are essential for this job.
Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members
High attention to detail and strong time management skills
Be required to work a flexible schedule and must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment.
Successful candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter and team player with the skills to accomplish, exceed goals and eager to grow.
