The Hilton Garden Inn Arlington Courthouse Plaza is in search of a talented, experienced Controller to join our great team. Located in the Courthouse section of historic Arlington, Virginia, our lovely hotel boasts 193 well-appointed guest rooms and several banquet and catering rooms. We are conveniently located near the Courthouse Metro station, Arlington Transit stops, Metro Bus stops, many businesses, government agencies, eateries, and tourist attractions.
The Controller is expected to manage financial processes to meet or exceed budgeted profit and margin of the hotel. Analyze and reconcile financial and operating information on an ongoing basis. Ensures department staff & managers are trained in financial/control procedures as outlined by the Internal Audit and procedures are consistently followed. Impacts cash flow by effective management of the accounts receivable and accounts payable at the hotel level. Manages all financial processes to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting practices (GAAP). Monitors and helps to develop annual budget as well as strict adherence to company daily, weekly & monthly deadlines. Implement and follow tracking systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
