Conference Service Manager

The Conference Service Manager is responsible for coordinating and supervising assigned group business after the contract has been signed by the sales department and through completion of the event or function. This person is expected to work closely with the client on their rooming list, coordinating movements and special requests and details with the appropriate departments, managing cut-off dates and attrition by working closely with revenue management and the respective sales manager and reconciling the bill upon departure. She/he must act as a liaison between client and operating departments to ensure a successful meeting and to generate repeat business.
At least 2 years of experience in a hotel sales or catering role, luxury hotel preferred in conference services or events. Must be able to effectively convey a luxury experience through written skills, verbal skills and conductingthorough site inspections. Must be proficient in word, excel, and Delphi/property management skills, power point, and IPad technical skills a plus.
