DESCRIPTION

POSITION
PURPOSE

Reports to the Meetings &
Conference Services Manager, the Conference Floor Supervisor is responsible for
maintaining the quality and standards of the coffee break department and the
property, with the focus on meeting and exceeding our guests expectations every
day.
Supervision of staff and
execution of proper set up of the multiple coffee break stands. Ensure
consistency and work towards improving presentation and quality of coffee
breaks. Must have previous food and beverage supervisory experience. Dependable
person a must

ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS

Supervision of staff and
execution of proper set up of the coffee break stands

·        
Ability
to monitor and maintain inventory levels of all supplies, including coffee
break par stock items. 

·        
Prepare
weekly schedule of the coffee break team and forecast food quantity accurately

·        
Set
up hot and cold stations, displaying food, condiments, glassware, and supplies
in an aesthetic manner.

·        
Check
Coffee Break stations and Kitchen areas for cleanliness, proper set-up, and
sufficient supplies and equipment.

·        
Anticipate
guest’s needs and respond promptly.

·        
Provides
guests with exceptional service in order to achieve customer satisfaction.

·        
Practice
clean as you go techniques of service, keeping the station clean, neat, and
supplied at all times.

assignments involve ergonomic risk, such as repetitive tasks, hands exertion,
vibration, cold temperatures, poor body mechanics, restrictive work stations or
awkward postures.

guests, supervisors and subordinates.

QUALIFICATION
STANDARDS

Experience

·        
This position requires a minimum of two years job-related experience in any
hotel related department.  May be suitable for a graduate from a hotel
school who has worked in the industry throughout their studies.
