Paséa Hotel & Spa is seeking a full time Concierge to join our team!

Job Summary:

The Concierge fulfills personal and professional requests for guests to include dinner, tours, entertainment, and transportation and travel arrangements.  The concierge will provide information about local attractions and recommendations for special occasions and special events in addition to up-selling the different services and restaurants of our property.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome all guests approaching the concierge desk in an enthusiastic and professional manner
  • Answer phones and assist guests with questions and requests
  • Provide quality recommendations to include dining, entertainment, transportation and travel
  • Review all information regarding arrivals for repeat guests, reward members, VIPs, and daily functions
  • Assist with amenity recommendations and delivery
  • To be knowledgeable regarding all property information including room types and rates, conference rooms, restaurant, lounge, pool
  • Coordinate all VIP amenities with the sales department, front desk, and food and beverage team  
  • Respond to inquiries regarding restaurant/bar/Blend hours of operation, directions to local attractions, car rentals and airlines, transportation service, etc.
  • Provide service recovery when needed
  • Be knowledgeable and answer questions regarding hotel services, functions and events
  • Ensure information is communicated and shared with all shifts

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year concierge experience in hotel
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Computer literate
  • Flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays based on business demands

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Ability to successfully communicate with a wide array of people
  • Ability to analyze guest needs and resolve guests challenges
  • Multi-lingual a plus

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, use hands to reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to lift/move and exert around 50 pounds of force occasionally, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard, calculator and other office/IT equipment.

The new Paséa Hotel & Spa is a short walk from the Huntington Beach Pier, which draws an estimated 16.3 million visitors annually.  The property will be designed by renowned international hotel architect WATG, with the guest rooms designed by Monogram by Callison, interior public spaces by Kay Lang + Associates, and the restaurant and bar by Costa Mesa-based Hatch Design Group.
