Position Details

Daily Duties

  • Ensure the smooth running of the Concierge department
  • Check smartness of dress, hygiene and punctuality of subordinates
  • Prepare duty rosters for the department
  • Ensure that guests are always satisfied with our service and provide as much assistance as possible
  • Ensure that the Concierge Desk information is always up-to-date
  • Handle confirmation and re-routing as well as purchase of airline tickets
  • Ensure prompt log records of all incoming parcels and prompt delivery of all items
  • Co-ordinate with Guest Relation Officers or Guest Services Agents for swift removal of luggage from rooms and ensure guests have settled their bills before departure
  • Ensure proper service for guests requiring air and sea travel tickets, documents, cinema and theatre tickets, car hires, tours and any other arrangements which the hotel guests may request are provided
  • Arrange sightseeing tours by hotel limousine or coaches
  • Organize all transportation requirements for hotel guests
  • Make restaurant reservations for hotel guests within or outside the hotel
  • Inspect hotel cars daily to ensure all of them are up to standard
  • Draw up suitable procedures with Concierge Manager for the department when necessary
  • Ensure that all physical aspects of the areas are under control and are always kept in a good state of maintenance
  • Handle guest complaints and report to Concierge Manager of any concern for      
    further service recovery action
  • Liaise continuously with the limousine contractor to ensure the standard service is provided to our guests
  • Find ways to improve the efficiency of the operations which will benefit our clients
  • Find ways of maximizing and increasing sales and/or yield (in revenue centres)
  • Find methods of reducing costs without affecting the level of service or product received by the guests
  • Propose and initiate when approved, new services and products for our guests
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Concierge Manager from  time to time
  • Has experiences at Front desk
  • Able to communicate in Japanese and English
