Loews Hotel 1000 consists of 120 guest rooms, approximately 12,000 square feet of meeting space, a full-service spa, virtual Golf Club, and a new seafood restaurant emerging. The property is located in the heart of downtown Seattle, steps from the waterfront along Elliott Bay, and conveniently centered near Pike Place Market, Seattle Art Museum, the business district and lively and historic Pioneer Square
The Concierge ensures all requests for information or assistance are fulfilled in an exceptionally courteous, efficient and professional manner. Provides knowledgeable and comprehensive information about Hotel and surroundings area, including restaurants, attractions, transportation and recreational activities. Develops and maintains a database detailing such services and appropriate contact person. Networks with the providers of leisure, dining and transportation companies to promote exceptional working relationships. Promotes Hotel food and beverage facilities and recreational activities. Builds relationship with the hotel’s preferred vendors. Follows up with the guests in an exceptionally timely, thorough, and professional manner.
Extensive and thorough knowledge of the local area including restaurants, attractions, and shops.
Excellent communication skills – oral and written.
Ability to make decisions on imperfect information.
Excellent guest service skills.
Knowledge of computer programs utilized in property management.
Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to stand for an eight-hour shift.
Minimum two years’ experience as a Concierge at a comparable quality property
