Job Description

To assist in the presentation of the complimentary breakfast by obtaining supplies, clearing away dirty dishes, wiping off tables and restocking the buffet area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.

Display good customer relation skills and take initiative to greet guests in a friendly manner.

2.

Open up each morning preparing and organizing the station and cooking all food necessary to start serving.

3.

Learn menus, recipes, presentation, and preparation methods. Prepare all orders and ensure all orders are cooked quickly and per order, and leave the kitchen in high quality.

4.

Ensure that all food is stored in proper containers and at proper storage and holding temperatures.

5.

Cook only sufficient food in advance to cover expected business volume and to maintain quality. Enforce all controls as required such as portion control, employee meals, and stock rotation.

6.

Prepare all food for the following day as required and directed.

7.

Work with all employees as a team to ensure smooth operation of food production and meal on shift changes. Facilitate shift changes and relay any pertinent information to supervisor and/or next shift employees.

8.

Maintain the work area, including counter tops, utensils, equipment, and refrigeration equipment in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

9.

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications.

10.

Maintain personal hygiene in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and laws.

11.

Separates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Steam-cleans or hoses-out garbage cans.

12.

Washes glasses and other items by hand if required, or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.

13.

Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand.

14.

Puts away and rotates stock; puts away all clean utensils and stock in designated areas.

15.

Cleans tables and sweeps and mops floors.

16.

Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

17.

Ensure uniform and appearance is clean and professional.

18.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

1.

ServSafe certification required

2.

Must be flexible to work all shifts, to include days, weekends and holidays

3.

Previous food and beverage experience preferred

4.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

5.

Primarily walking and standing

6.

Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 6-25 lbs
