The Chef is responsible for all kitchen operations including supervision of kitchen staff, safety and sanitation, Development of Team Members for a high volume seasonal summer Resort with two foodservice outlets.
The Chef has contributory financial responsibility for food costs, labor costs, and kitchen supplies. The Chef maintains food quality and safety standards, oversees all phases of food procurement, production and service, including inventory and ordering, storage and rotation, food preparation, recipe adherence, plate presentation, and service production time standards. Our Chef will achieve these standards through daily line checks and food reviews, as well as ongoing Team Training and Supervision.
