Our newly renovated hotel is looking for an experienced catering sales manager.
Respond to sales inquiries from potential and existing customers seeking meeting and event space and food and beverage services.
Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to exceed budgeted revenue goals.
Develop new business via telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, tradeshows, networking events, internet prospecting.
Send proposals and negotiate contracts using effective rate and price negotiation and revenue/yield management approaches.
Proactive approach to development of new business and account penetration and retention.
Finalize and detail all catering events.
Communicate event details to all hotel departments, partnering with operations departments to exceed guest expectations.
Conduct site visits, host and entertain clients and accurately maintain client records.
Participate in daily sales meetings and other in-house meetings as required.
Conduct weekly Banquet Event Meeting.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum of two years hotel catering sales experience
Knowledge of the sales process from qualifying to closing
Verifiable record of exceeding revenue goals.
Hilton brand experience a plus.
