*Approach all guests and employees in an attentive, friendly and service oriented manner.
*Work with F&B team to keep them informed of all F&B bookings, changes and issues as they arise.
*Monitor quality of service in banquet/catering events.
*Know meeting room sales and capabilities.
*Know and understand SalesPro and keep accurate information at all times
*Have a good working knowledge of Opera PMS.
*Re-solicit past local accounts to generate new business.
*Set solicitation goals with the Director of Sales and meet or exceed these goals and revenue goals
*Meet and greet in house guests upon arrival and introduce other members of the hotel staff.
*Manage booking pace
*Handle inquiry calls and outside sales calls. Follow through to completion of the function.
*Comply with weekly and monthly forecasting procedures
*Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly and service oriented manner.
*Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by guests and employees.
*Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
*Maintain regular attendance in compliance with the hotel as required scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
*Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
*Perform other duties as requested by management
