Job Details

Primary Objective:
Develop and maintain new business to meet/exceed revenue goals for the catering and banquets department.

Major Areas of Accountability:

  • Build and maintain existing and new client database to drive new and qualified business to the hotel.
  • Able to manage the entire sales process: respond to leads in appropriate time frame, negotiate and close the deal, proper documentation including billing and distributing clearly written BEO's, conduct tours and entertain clients
  • Provide weekly/monthly sales activity reports including lost-business, pace and month end/actualization reports.
  • Coordinate sales efforts between hotel sales and restaurant outlets to achieve maximum revenues and customer satisfaction.
  • Attend networking and off-premise events
  • Supervise events
  • At least two years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong communication and guest service skills
  • Demonstrate strong sales ability.
  • Self-Motivated and results oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Proven Results Track Record  and established contacts a plus
