The Wyndham Grand Jupiter at Harbourside Place located in Jupiter, Florida is currently seeking a  Business Transient Sales Manager. The Business Transient Sales Manager is responsible for proactively soliciting local business for the hotel.The primary intent of the position is to create one on one business relationships with individuals who influence and drive local transient room nights, local catering events and small local meetings. Researches, solicits and qualifies business opportunities. The position executes local corporate rate agreements and distributes local catering and meetings leads to the appropriate individuals within the hotels. This position is primarily an outside sales position (75%).

Education & Experience: 
  • At least 4 years of progressive hotel sales experience; or a 4yearcollege degree and at least 2 year of related experience; or a 2year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license in the applicable state.
  • Must be skilled in Windows, Company approved spreadsheets and word processing.
Physical requirements:
  • Long hours sometimes required.
  • Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
