The Hilton ColumbusPolaris, located in the vibrant Polaris community, is currently seeking a full time Business Transient Sales Manager for our 252 Room AAA Four Diamond property with over 15,000 square feet of meetingevent space. As an associate of the Hilton ColumbusPolaris, you will also be an associate of Crescent Hotels Resorts, one of the nations largest and fastest growing hospitality management companies. As a manager you will be eligible for partially employer paid health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 100 employer paid life insurance at one times your annual salary, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability available on the first of the month after your hire date. You will also be eligible for participation in our 401K program after 6 months of employment with a match of 50 cents on the dollar up to 6 and a 5 year progressive vesting schedule. You will also accrue vacation and personal time each paycheck at a rate of 10 days of vacation and four personal days after one year (These accruals are based on the average hours you work.) After three months of employment you can begin utilizing any accrued personal time and after six months of employment you can begin utilizing any accrued vacation time. Full time associates also receive holiday pay for seven paid holidays a year. Every associate of ours also enjoys free parking, discounted hotel rooms within the Hilton brand and with Crescent Hotels Resorts properties, as well as a free employee meal program.
Upon offer of employment candidates must be willing to submit to social security verification, criminal background check, and urinalysis drug screening. MVR checks may also be conducted if the position requires the associate to operate a company vehicle.

Minimum of 3 years of hotel business transient sales experience.
Experience with DELPHI sales system is preferred.
This individual would be responsible for the following Soliciting new accounts. Entertaining and maintaining relationships with existing accounts to meet andor exceed revenue goals. Maximizing revenue by selling all facets of the hotel, both orally and in written form. Moving throughout the property to conduct site inspections. Handling of all account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented. Coordinating various departments participation in servicing accounts successfully. Ensuring accurate, timely and detailed completion of group resumes. Developing and conducting persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients. Traveling locally to conduct outside sales calls, promote the hotel and reviewaccess the competition. Preparing information for, meeting with and entertaining clients, as deemed appropriate, by potential business from that account. Representing the hotel at trade shows. Setting up exhibits involving bending, stooping, lifting and reaching overhead. Responding to leads via local CVB, National Sales and other lead suppliers. Creating and submitting proposals and contracts to clients. Building groups within Delphi sales system. Conducting solicitation calls based on a flat list. Creating and submitting weekly activity report and other necessary reports as required.
