Job OverviewTwo Roads Hospitality is actively seeking a Social Media Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an exciting and growing company. This position will play a critical role in creating, posting, and monitoring social media content on behalf select hotels within a specific Two Roads brand.
Essential Functions•Researching, collecting, and writing content for individual hotels social media channels on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, and Instagram
•Communicating with hotels to obtain ad hoc content & drafting relevant, timely updates
•Translate marketing materials from Spanish to English and vice versa as required for social media content and basic website content
•Localize content in terms of language and location relevance, both social and web for markets where you will have hotels you re managing: predominantly Mexico, Puerto Rico and North America •Travel to assigned hotels for content capture on a quarterly basis
•Monitor, respond, and flag online conversations about individual properties
•Optimize posting schedule & frequency to obtain maximum interaction & impact
•Create and monitor benchmarks to measure the impact of social media from a customer service and business point of view and share results in detailed monthly reports
•Creation of two-month strategic plans with social media objective and tactics clearly outlined
•Brainstorm and execute creative contest ideas
•Engage relevant influencers and brand advocates in an authentic way
- MUST be fully fluent (written and verbal) in Spanish and English
- 1 to 2 years of experience in social media community management, either in-house or at an agency
- You are organized, accurate, and pay attention to deal
- You are able to write copy and communicate on behalf of a brand voice
- Demonstrated success in exceeding assigned targets and goals
- Have a college degree
