* Provides assistance to guests with personalized service and communicates directly with them, both in person and by telephone. * Stays knowledgeable and informed about all hotel services and operations, local information on restaurant, shops and activities. * Provides information on facilities and services, events and attractions, tours, travel routes and transportation schedules. * Provides area maps, brochures and other literature. * Arranges tickets, bookings, appointments and reservations for guests. * Answers the telephone in a professional manner and assists guests with any questions, or directions. * Maintains the working area in a professional and organized manner. * Provides support to the Front Desk during breaks and as instructed.
* Hospitable, engaging and with an excellent disposition to serve and provide great guest service. * Proficiency in the English language, including: written, oral, reading, spelling and grammar. * Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, detail and telephone skills. * Working knowledge of common computer programs. Fosse a plus. * Effectively manages time and is proactive in completion of tasks. * Able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 lbs. * Able to stand/walk up to 8 hours per day. * Able to project a professional, friendly and courteous image to guests and patrons. * Able to successfully work independently and as part of a team.
