To ensure beverages are provided to the customer in a prompt and courteous fashion, and to maintain a high level of quality, value, consistency and satisfaction to the guest.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Prepare beverages requested by customers or servers to maximize revenues for the hotel in accurate manner. Use accuracy in mixing beverages requiring multiple ingredients.

  2. Ensure customer and server requests are completed in a prompt and courteous manner based on established procedures, standards and policies.

  3. Maintain clean an organized work area to maximize efficiency and value. Bar set up cleaning according to opening procedure specifications.

  4. Notify management of incidents involving excessive alcohol consumption or impaired condition of customers. Check identification whenever the age of a guest requesting an alcoholic beverage is questionable.

  5. Verify liquor inventory, correctly complete all requisition requirements, and store stock as per approved procedures.

  6. Complete all closing responsibilities as per closing procedure specifications.

  7. Complete customer payment transactions according to policies and procedures.

  8. Must maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times in accordance with hotel Standards of Grooming and Standards of Conduct.

  9. Perform and duty requested of you by your supervisor.

  10. Must always make guest satisfaction a priority within the guidelines of the hotel. Be willing to assist in any other department/task that may ask for his/her assistance.
