We are looking for a Banquet Setup Houseman for our Banquet Department. Incumbent should have a minimum of 1 year banquet experience, preferably in a luxury hotel. Responsibilities include setting up rooms and function areas as designated by Captain; setting up table linens, skirting, and table top items; breaking down meeting areas upon completion of scheduled event; cleaning and sanitizing glassware; stocking and organizing supply carts; transporting meeting equipment; refreshing rooms as needed by event organizers; assisting Catering Concierge in delivering boxes and packages; and supporting the Banquet Setup Department with any additional needs. Candidate must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs; ServSafe and TIPs certification preferred. A flexible schedule is required, including weekends, holidays and evenings.
