A 13-minute walk from the Banneker-Douglass Museum, this polished downtown property is a 15-minute walk from the historic Maryland State House. The circular trolley stops directly outside of the hotel approximately every twenty minutes, taking you anywhere you want to go in Downtown Annapolis. Classic rooms all have flat-screen TVs, desks and coffeemakers, plus WiFi (fee) and kitchenettes (fee). Suites add separate living rooms and dining tables. Upgraded suites offer kitchenettes and/or add wet bars. Amenities include an American restaurant and a lobby lounge, as well as a fitness center and heated indoor pool. Position Info

The Banquet Captain functions as the lead banquet server; trains and schedules banquet servers. This position also performs the duties of a banquet server, taking food and drink orders and serving guests, and illustrating the proper techniques and etiquette for all styles of service.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• One year banquet attendant/server experience.
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• Basic computer skills.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Valid driver’s license, where applicable.
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members.
