The Baker I is responsible for preparation of pastry/baked goods for both a.m. and p.m. shifts in all venues of the resort. Responsible for the physical condition, cleanliness and profitability of the bakery. Assists with the ordering of food product and training of new employees. Will work with the Culinary Team to ensure the highest level of service and guest satisfaction.
Must be skilled in the art of baking and have two years of pastry/bake shop experience in a high volume bakery and/or in a high volume restaurant/ hotel bakery.
Must have knowledge in banquet pastry and baked goods, such as bread items, sweet dough, breakfast and coffee break pastry preparation, as well as, cakes, pies and fruit tarts, should have some basic supervisory skills.
Must possess verbal and written communication skills.
