Q Center - A Dolce Conference Collection property located in Saint Charles, IL is searching for an Associate Producer.

The Doing:

The successful candidate will assist producers, schedulers and crew leads in Q Center's events and media production team and is interested in honing his/her technical skill set in addition to traditional media responsibilities including:

  • Assisting in developing schedules for event rehearsals and load-in/out
  • Participating in generating creative solutions for scenic media projects for proposals
  • Following up with clients on project details, updating project details in project databases, organizing binders
  • Overseeing video file management and other project-related video tasks
  • Obtaining and managing internal/external music and stock footage researching and licensing
  • Managing computer equipment and video displays, including updating software and passwords
  • Transporting equipment to and from storage location for events and shoots
  • Updating internal information web portal as necessary
  • Researching various vendor offerings for producers and clients
  • Operating teleprompter equipment during rehearsals and live events
  • Organizing PowerPoint presentations and advancing slides during live presentations
  • Managing voting equipment, as well as, programming voting questions for live events and creating voting reports from aggregated data
  • Managing client duplication requests
  • Assigning project numbers to new productions and producing labels for media assets
  • Proofing media products before they are sent to clients
  • Assisting producers with billings and processing vendor invoices
  • Assisting scheduler in preparing daily work-order printouts for production crew

The Skills:

  • Must hold a BS/BA in Communications, Media Production, Marketing, Theatre or related field
  • Should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be an independent worker and self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must possess the ability to manage time efficiently and negotiate requests from several producers
  • Should have strong oral and written communication skills
  • Should be capable of conducting internet and phone-based research
  • Possesses shooting and editing and/or basic graphic design and After Effects skills
