Tanners Restaurant at Paséa Hotel & Spa is seeking a dynamic hospitality individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will report directly to the Restaurant Manager and is a hands-on experienced and production based Manager who assists in leading the team in the evenings, managing not only the main restaurant floor, but our signature rooftop bar area, insuring our guests receive the highest level of service and quality on a daily and consistent basis.   

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with leading a team including hiring, training, development and supervision
  • Assisting with developing, planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating the team to ensure exceptional service and an efficient operation
  • Assisting with maintaining costs and quality control and supporting the overall operation of our busiest restaurant

Job Requirements:

  • Two years supervisory/management experience
  • High volume restaurant experience
  • Computer savvy
  • Ability to work  a varied schedule, to include AM and PM shifts as well as  weekends/holidays
  • Ability to maintain sanitation procedures and organization of work area adhering to all OSHA, federal, state and local health department regulations

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Outstanding management, organization, communication and leadership skills
  • Strong and proven ability to motivate, train, develop, mentor
  • Bar and beverage knowledge
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service
  • Ability to monitor labor as required by anticipating business activity while ensuring that positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective operating and control processes designed to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established operating criteria
  • Ability and experience in assisting with successfully leading and coordinating staff in a high volume, time sensitive environment
  • Exhibit good working knowledge of meeting or exceeding budgeting labor cost
  • Strong attention to detail


Physical Requirements: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to manipulate equipment, and to talk and hear.  The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch.  Frequent visits to individual resort properties, of such facilities which have a wide diversity of topography are required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move office supplies weighing up to 40 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.  Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard, calculator and other office/restaurant equipment.
