Job Description

Job OverviewThis position is responsible for providing assistance to the Food & Beverage Manager. S/he will assist with overseeing the lounge to ensure optimum performance, exceptional guest service and maximum profitability of all functions. S/he will train and motivate staff to exceed goals.Essential Functions
  • Leads and supervises the outlet team
  • Ensures physical atmosphere and cleanliness of the department, including inspecting tabletops, countertops and side stations
  • Tracks payroll and revenue daily
  • Assists with establishing par levels for supplies and equipment
  • Supervises the performance, attendance, attitudes, appearance and conduct of service team
  • Assists with the development, training and inspiration of outlets staff for promotion
  • Maintains a safe and pleasant work environment
  • Conducts staff meetings as necessary. Communicates all pertinent information to the outlets team
  • Attends appropriate hotel /resort, division and department meetings
  • Resolves guest issues promptly and with great care and effectiveness
  • Maintains a strong knowledge of hospitality trends, especially food & beverage

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of food and beverage or supervisory experience in related field
  • Must possess valid Food Handler’s card
  • Must have strong knowledge of alcohol, liquor and wine
  • Must be highly detailed orientated
  • Must have excellent computer skills
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Must always ensure a teamwork environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
