Assistant General Manager
Location: US - NJ - Englewood
Well recognized hospitality company seeking an Assistant General Manager in the Northern New Jersey Market to oversee the Front Desk, Housekeeping and Human Resources departments. This candidate needs to possess 3+ of hotel experience. This is an advanced level position providing mentoring and coaching to the existing team. This is also a “hands on” position and the ideal candidate must be able to step in and work in any of the above mentioned areas.
The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for managing the operations of the Front Desk, Housekeeping and Human Resource departments to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience. The position would also be required to manage, train, and develop team members and work within all budgeted guidelines. Position is responsible for long and short-term planning and day-to-day operations of the Rooms division/human resource departments. Ideal candidate has strong work ethic with an eye for details as well as provides excellent client services. Must be self-motivated and proactive in leading this team
Successful track record in people management skills
Good accounting and organizational skills
Good knowledge of rooms division and human resource and labor laws.
Out of the box mentality and willingness to explore new avenues for revenue generation Must exemplify great leadership, professional attitude, and be comfortable in mentoring and leading a team.
