Job Description

Embassy Suites by Hilton at the Portland Airport is currently seeking an Assistant Fronk Office Manager. We are owned by Atrium Hospitality LP (“Atrium”) a leading hotel management and asset management company headquartered in Alpharetta, GA. Currently, Atrium has 50 hotels and 12,500 rooms in 25 states under management and provides asset management services for an additional 7 properties with 3,624 rooms in 5 states. Our unique owner-operator platform allows us to develop and execute operating, marketing and development strategies that are defined by the interests of our ownership, associates, customers and brands. We have developed an industry-leading executive team to direct our operations, revenue management, marketing, sales and capital planning departments. Provide exceptional guest service through efficient management of Front Office team.

1. Coordinates the exceptionally friendly, professional and seamless reception, registration, and account settlement for all hotel guests.
2. Demonstrates the ability to effectively interact, coordinate and communicate through daily pre-shift meetings with all associates in high guest impact departments to ensure a smooth arrival through departure experience for all guests.
3. Ensures that exceptional levels of guest service is being provided to guests and Atrium standards are being applied.
4. Evaluates individual associate performance, determining improvement and training needs and advancement requirements.
5. Demonstrates knowledge of all services/features, hours of operations, room types, room rates, special packages and promotions, daily house count and expected arrivals/departures, room availability status, scheduled in-house group activities to anticipate and respond to guest inquiries promptly and accurately.
6. Assists in ensuring accurate communication of information to guests regarding all hotel facilities and operating hours.
7. Maintains confidentiality of guest information and follow proper protocol to secure and protect pertinent data.
8. Assists with the development and management of repeat guest and VIP service programs.
9. Performs any other job related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

1. 2-4 years of experience in Front Office or Guest Services
2. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
