Assistant Front Office Manager
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Front Office Manager who oversees the Front Services operations and make sure all guests receive prompt and personal recognition.
Train Front Desk Guest Service Agent and supervise them in the performance of their duties.
Conduct performance evaluations and discipline employees when needed.
Communicate with all departments to ensure follow-up on any guest concerns and special requests.
Monitor room rate availability on full-house nights to maximize occupancy and revenue.
Coordinate arrivals, departures and billing requirements with sales and catering management.
The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
Exceptional customer service skills: smile, welcoming attitude, ability to engage and make a great first impression on our guests
Dynamic, enthusiastic, creative leader who thrives under pressure and is able to perform multiple functions and troubleshot when needed.
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a luxury/upscale hotel/resort. Union experience a plus.
Computer literacy, knowledge of Opera.
College degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
Foreign languages required.
Flexible shifts, weekends, nights and holidays.
