Assistant Front Office Manager

Assists Front Office Manager in coordinating the provision of world-class Front Desk services to hotel guests. Oversees the daily registration, account settlement, and communications services provided by Front Desk and PBX personnel. Oversees and assists in the satisfaction of all requests and the resolution of all guest complaints received by the Front Desk. Maintains appropriate staffing levels based on daily arrival and departure patterns and budgetary guidelines. Provides support and ongoing training for all employees in these departments, ensuring compliance with all Loews Hotels Star Service standards.
Must have 2+ years of front office management experience in a 4 - Diamond or MORE hotel and or resort.
Directs and assists in the friendly, professional, and efficient registration and check-out of hotel guests.
Supervises all Front Desk Agents.
Assists Front Desk Agents in satisfying guest requests and resolving guest complaints.
Coordinates and provides training for all Front Desk, and Rooms Control employees.
Monitors and ensures adherence to all Loews Hotels Star Service Standards.
Interacts frequently with guests to provide assistance and ensure guest satisfaction.
Familiar with and able to troubleshoot problems with the following systems: key encoding, call accounting, in-room movies, video checkout, electronic data capture, and PMS interface control.
Works with Front Office Manager, and Reservation Manager to determine daily room rates based on occupancy and revenue goals.
Ensures provision of SQS cards during check-out.
Prints occupancy, arrivals, departures, and back-up reports on a timely basis
Follows up on all walked guests.
Prints Credit Check Report, taking necessary action to obtain additional credit approvals and/or payments on guest accounts.
Prints Potential Room Revenue Report for all in-house guests to ensure accuracy of rates prior to system posting of room and tax and to check statistical (market segment) coding.
Prints all required back-up reports on a timely basis.
Sign adjustment vouchers at close of shift with a goal of reducing the overall amount of revenue adjustments.
Must be able to work all shifts to include graveyard, weekends and holidays.
