Assistant Front Office Manager
We are seeking for an Assistant Front Office Manager to assist in managing the day-to-day activities of the Front Office staff and ensuring that all Standard Operating Procedures are in place and adhered to. Schedule employees to ensure proper coverage. Ensure all staff is properly trained on systems, cash handling procedures, and service standards and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their job functions. Conduct pre-shift meeting to review information pertinent to days business. Schedule and conduct routine inspections of the Front Office and public areas to ensure the appearance of such areas reflects highly on the hotel, brand, and Company. This position reports directly to the Front Office Manager
Skills & Experience:
-Experience working with Union employees and with the union contract required.
-Ability to acquire and maintain relationships e.g., team members and guests.
-Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
-Excellent guest relations skills.
-Strong communication skills.
-Ability to work well in stressful and high-pressure situations.
-Able to work flexible hours.
-Good computer skills are required.
-Minimum 2 years management experience in front office of a hotel in New York City.
