Job Description

Assist with overseeing housekeeping operations to deliver an excellent Guest experience while monitoring housekeeping standards and assisting the Executive Housekeeper.

1. Assist with overseeing Housekeeping operations
2. Operate housekeeping department within departmental budgets through effective stock and cost controls and well managed schedules
3. Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of the Housekeeping Team with an emphasis on training and teamwork
4. Ensure housekeeping associates are knowledgeable of all room categories and amenities and adhere to brand standards of cleanliness
5. Ensure staffing levels cover business demands
6. Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures
7. Deputize in absence of Executive Housekeeper
8. All other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

1. 2 years of housekeeping supervisor experience, hospitality industry strongly preferred
2. Previous management experience strongly preferred
3. High school diploma or equivalent preferred
4. Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
5. Must be flexible to work all shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
