Position Details
  • Handles daily administration of the Department including correspondences, requisition etc
  • Prepare the Duty Roster for immediate subordinates and approves the Duty Roster for all other staff
  • Inspects all VIP rooms and ensure that they meet up to the desired standards
  • Conducts random inspection on guest rooms and public areas to ensure that they are clean, presentable in accordance to the stipulated standards.
  • Assist Executive Housekeeper in planning and coordinating all department objectives
  • Involve in the selection of candidates for housekeeping positions
  • Establish, specify and document the standards of Housekeeping for all subordinates
  • Conduct regular training sessions to inculcating such standards
  • Handles all disciplinary cases in accordance to Hotel's Policies and provides counseling to all Housekeeping staff.
  • Liaises with other senior staff on Housekeeping matters and handles complaints which are so referred to by the subordinates.
  • Plan preventive programme with Engineering Department
  • Evaluate the cleaning requirements of the Hotel, plan and initiate special cleaning assignments through delegation, organization and control.
  • Reviews housekeeping expendable items and assets with the Material Management Manager
  • Assists in budget prepartion for Housekeeping department
  • Inspect work of contractors and ensure that such work conform to the specified standards.
  • To oversee renovation project
  • Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Managers specializing in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.
  • Full-Time position(s) available.
