This position will oversee the revenue management strategies at the JW Marriott Cherry Creek and Courtyard Marriott Denver Downtown. This role will report to the Senior Director of Revenue Management as well as partnering with collaborative executive committee teams that takes pride in excellence and is a great steward of the hotel and its community.

Your success will be measured by your ability to:

• Create and execute strategies and tactics that will result in achievement of optimized revenue, profit and RevPAR growth

•The ability to present business results and interface with a sophisticated ownership groups

• Work in collaboration with corporate executives, divisional staff and property General Managers to optimize revenue, profit and RevPAR growth

Our ideal candidate has proven revenue management experience in a full service hotel environment, a complete understanding of the strategic application of revenue management principals, expertise and proven track record in developing and deploying pricing strategies that increase market share, optimize revenue, profit and RevPAR growth. Brand experience within Marriott revenue systems is preferred.

Posting Overview

The Area Director of Revenue Management is responsible for the maximization of revenue, profit, and market share associated with rooms and function space for multiple hotels. Demonstrates excellent leadership skills by educating others and ensures understanding and gains buy-in of the revenue management processes associated with demand, revenue, forecasting, opportunity analysis, and inventory management. Works with hotel leaders to recommend and identify future markets, hotel opportunities, guide hotels sales strategy and pricing for transient, group, and catering.

Education/Formal Training

Four year degree preferred.

Experience

3-5 years of Revenue Management experience required

Multi-property experience preferred, but not required.

Material/Equipment Used

Operate calculator, telephone, facsimile, computer and copier.

Environment

Prolonged sitting throughout entire shift at computerized workstation in office environment.
