Job Description



The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will manage the daily operations and strategic objectives of the Company’s accounts receivable cycle through design, implementation, maintenance and management of all accounts receivable business functions and procedures for the Accounts Receivable collection process. 



  • Transfer City Ledger and Credit Cards daily from Guest Ledger to City Ledger.

  • Check Credit Card documentation on completeness.

  • Investigate and resolve Credit Card queries.

  • Check PM and open folio accounts daily.

  • Create and send out Group and Transient invoices with respective back up information on a daily basis

  • Responsible to post NoShow and Late Cancellation when requested through Reservation or Event

  • Post all payments, charges, rebates, etc.

  • Verify and audit Banquet Event Orders with Group Masters.

  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies

  • Maintain accounts receivable files and records

  • Responsible for the necessary correction, completion and collection of all direct bill accounts

  • Collection efforts in any possible way (credit information (HCA), reminder letters, collection calls)

  • Print daily statements, copy all related back-up and mail with statements as necessary.

  • Prepare write offs for Controller’s approval

  • Print and distribute reports as required.

  • Answer any guest questions/research.

  • Maintain all City Ledger Profiles for accuracy and completeness.

  • Conduct monthly credit meeting.

  • Assist with month end closing

  • Perform audits as requested by DOF.

  • Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management.

  • Work in compliance with house rules and all safety regulations of the hotel.

  • Take over daily work of Accounts Payable clerk/ General Cashier in its absence.

Job Requirements



  • Minimum two years of Accounts Receivable Supervisor experiences

  • Knowledge of accounts receivable

  • Knowledge of general accounting principals

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to organize and multitask

  • Ability to get jobs done before deadline

  • Possess analytical and problem solving skills

  • Proficient in various computer programs; Marriott – PMS, Excel, Word, etc.
