Must have Accounts Receivable experience.
Post all payments into the accounting computer systems.
Responsible for all charges, prepare them for transmittal, and reconcile accounts.
Responsible for information in regard to overdue accounts and supply to the Controller weekly.
Respond to guest queries and account disputes.
Periodically assist in the monthly audit of all house banks.
Assist with the food & beverage inventories.
Participate in pre-conference meetings.
Maintain accounts receivable files including contract and approved direct bill application.
Prepare all necessary reports with regard to accounts receivable.
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
Effectively communicate and coordinate with all departments.
Scrupulously follow all hotel policies and procedures.
Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
