Bill and collect all revenue owed to the hotel in an accurate, timely manner in accordance with accounting policies and procedures. Assist Controller in directing the financial activities of the hotel, safeguarding the assets, and preparing all financial reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and HEI Hotels and Resorts Standards.


* Reconciliation of banquet check extensions, coding of banquets at cost, review and route sales and promotion checks with back-up.
* Post city ledger payments in property management system, reconcile and bill all city ledger accounts. Perform follow-up billing and credit collection documentation and inform Controller of any potential uncollectible accounts.
* Process guest refunds and maintain accurate and legible logs for all credit card refunds processed.
* Post accounts receivable payments.
* Handling of Group Billing requirements and guest inquiries. Respond in a timely manner.
* Perform any other job related duties as assigned


* Proficient in Microsoft Office, intermediate Excel Skills
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
* Analytical approach to problem solving with high regard for detail and accuracy
* Must have the ability to effectively deal with guest questions, comments and concerns in a friendly and positive manner
* Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a changing work environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, using appropriate phone salutations and etiquette.
* Command of the English language, both written and verbal.
* Marriott FSPMS Skills preferred but not necessary


* BS/BA degree and/or equivalent work experience in an accounting or hospitality field.


* Experience in Hotel or Hospitality related Guest Service and Accounting preferred.
