We are currently seeking a qualified Accounts Payable Manager for our Chicago - Home Office. As

an AP Manager you will be responsible for supervising the A/P department and overseeing all

accounts payable functions including A/P procedures, Procurement Card program, coordination of

check runs, check clearing, 1099 processing and training of corporate, regional and field personnel

and other special projects as needed.

Job Duties included:

* Responsible for the integrity of the Accounts Payable System

* Manages the Accounts Payable team, to include hiring, training, coaching, counseling, performance appraisals, discipline and termination

* Manages the coordination of audit efforts (both internal and external), management requests and any special projects as assigned

* Develops, documents and enforces accounts payable policies and procedures with a focus on increasing cash flows and adhering to proper internal controls

* Continuously improves the processes of accounts payable and related activities, leveraging available and new technology where appropriate

* Processes payment cycles including: checks, ACH and vendor payments via credit card

* Manages procurement card program

* Performs other duties as assigned

​Job Requirements include:

* Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university

* 5+ years experience in Accounts Payable

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

* Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

* Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

* Define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and make suggestions for change based on those conclusions.

* Above average ability to perform word processing and data entry into spreadsheets via Microsoft Word and Excel.

* Sending and receiving email as well as retrieving information from the Internet.

* Knowledge of web-based applications and a deep understanding and experience in on-line marketing.

* Excellent organization and project management skills, leadership skills as well as the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
