Purpose for the Position:
To perform any combination
of the following but not limited to: calculating, posting, and verifying duties
to obtain financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. To assist
the Director of Accounting and Human Resources, and General Manager of the property in some or all accounting, human resources, and
management /administrative related duties as assigned.
1. Compiles and sorts documents,
such as invoices and checks, payroll checks, timecards, substantiating business transactions.
2. Verifies and posts details of business
transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals
accounts, using calculator or computer.
3. Computes and records charges,
refunds, cost of lost or damaged goods, and similar items.
4. May enter/type vouchers,
invoices, checks, account statements, reports, petty cash, and other records,
using computer and/or manual data entry.
5. May reconcile merchant and bank
6. Assists with payroll processing
and payroll reconciliation as needed.
7. May enter timecard adjustments into
the payroll system as needed, and prepare
8. May assist with Income Audit
and preparation of Daily Revenue Report
9. Assists with Accounts Receivable
and Accounts Payable i.e. prepare/send invoices and statements to accounts;
sort, review, enter, and reconcile vendor invoices
10. Scan documents into one or multiple
11. Counts, audits, reconcile cash and
petty cash vouchers as needed i.e. prepare daily bank deposit(s).
12. Assists with hotel change orders
13. Assists with end of month reports and
other end of month requirements as needed
14. Assists with monthly inventories as
15. Assists with researching and
thoroughly processing chargeback responses on time
16. May assist with Night
Audit shift as needed (back up night auditor)
17. Assists/Conducts training and employee functions such as new hire orientation, brand training, employee luncheon, year-end party.
18. Assists with other HR tasks such as benefit open enrollment season, employee opinion survey, payroll check delivery, among others.

To do this job, you must
have the following amount of total education and/or experience: (If
hiring someone into this position, this would be the minimum amount of
experience and education that would be required in order for the incumbent to
have a reasonable expectation for success.)

accounting experience preferred
At least 6 months of basic Human Resources and Payroll experience preferred

Mathematical Development: Compute discount, interest, profit and loss; commission, markups
and selling price; ratio and proportion, and percentages. Calculate surface,
volumes, weights and measures. Algebra: Calculate variables and formulas;
monomials and polynomials; ratio and proportion variables; and square roots and
radicals. Geometry: Calculate plane and solid figures; circumference, area and
volume. Understand kinds of angels, and properties of pairs of angles.
Language Development: Reading: Read and understand instructions including but not
limited to policies and procedures, safety rules, etc. Writing: Write reports
with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar, using all parts of
speech. Speaking: Speak with poise, voice control, and confidence, using
correct English and well-modulated voice.
Attendance: Regular attendance in
conformance with the standards, which may be established by WCG, Inc. from time
to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees
with irregular attendance / tardies will be subject to disciplinary action, up
to and including termination of employment. Upon employment, all employees are
